WASHINGTON, DC— On Tuesday, May 7, the 150 Moms of the 2019 Mom Congress, will join members of Congress for the following events:

Saving and Supporting Moms: Briefing on the U.S.’ rising preventable maternal death rates and need for improved health care, featuring compelling personal stories on what matters most when it comes to maternal and child health.

Conversation with Congressional Moms: Presentation and discussion of the findings from the first annual Mom Congress “What’s Worrying Moms” survey, conducted by HealthyWomen and 2020 Mom. Congressional mothers will share their own personal experiences and struggles.

The powerful role and needs of moms have gone unrecognized in the U.S., impacting the health and well-being of our families and nation. Moms and bipartisan congressional leaders understand that now is the time to support moms.
